How to Help

JustGivingIn making a donation to Prospect Burma, you are investing in the lives of young Burmese people and their commitment to their country's free and democratic future.

Prospect Burma has several schemes available to you to help young people realise their dream of an education that will enable them to contribute to Burmese society.

PARTNERS
Our long-standing Partners of Prospect Burma provide us with essential core funding for our work.  Joining this key group at £25 a month gives us the secure suport so vital to our work.

ADOPT A SCHOLARSHIP
The Adopt a Scholarship Scheme costs £800 per part-scholarship per year and lets benefactors support scholarships in specific areas of study. The average cost of a scholarship is £3,500 per year, and benefactors can choose to contribute to a part-scholarship at £800 or full scholarship at £3,500 per annum.

PROJECTS INSIDE BURMA
If you would like to sponsor a project inside Burma, we are funding staff at an Intensive English Language programme in Kachin State. This costs us £6,500 per annum.   Alternatively, we are funding English language training for students, including former political prisoners, at the British Council in Rangoon. The cost for this is £800 per student, per annum, and the courses last for 18 months.

INSTITUTIONAL PARTNERS
We also have an Institutional Partners' Scheme costing £2,000 per year for organisations wishing to support us.
