Prospect Burma's Adopt-A-Scholarship Scheme gives benefactors a chance to put their name to a scholarship for a Burmese student in the study-field of their choice, such as teaching, public health, agriculture, nursing, or public administration, giving the doner a greater sense of involvement and control of how their support is being used.

We give grants ranging from £400 to £5,000 based on the course and the country in which  the student is attending university. We have set the Adopt-A-Scholarship contribution figure at £800 but in reality, with education and living costs rising, individual grants to most of our students easily exceeds this amount. Each scholarship will have the adopter's name attached to it, with details of the scholarship, the study field, the scholarship's duration, and the university it is attached to. All Adopt A Scholarship donors will be sent an annual report on their student.
