Prospect Burma Scholarships 2010

Submission deadline 31 March 2010

Prospect Burma runs an annual scholarships competition. There is intense demand for our scholarship awards, and incomplete or badly completed applications are likely to be rejected immediately. Please ensure that you submit your application by the deadline of 31 March 2010. Applications received after that date will not be considered.

• Full guidance notes and application forms are on the Scholarship Applications page of this website. Please read all the guidance carefully before completing your form.

• There are two application forms: a shortened one for continuing students who received a Grant from us in 2009; and one for all other applicants. Make sure you select the correct one

If you received a grant from Prospect Burma in 2009 and are seeking continued funding, you must submit a study report on your experiences during the 2009-10 academic year. We will not award a new grant without it. Please use the Study Report Template, which you will also find on the Scholarship Applications page of this website.

FOUNDATION FOR ADAPTATION IN CHANGING ENVIRONMENTS (FACE
)

This former charity was set up 'To advance public education about processes and principles of change with special reference to changes in technology, culture and ideology, social organisation, innovation and resistance to change and to study models and methods of change in individuals, communities, organisations and government and social policy’. The FACE Trustees have generously donated funds to Prospect Burma with a view to the money being passed on in the form of scholarships to students of Burmese origin who elect to study in a field relevant to FACE's objectives.

Candidates are selected from amongst students who apply under our regular annual scholarship programme (see top of this page). Four were selected for the 2009-10 academic year, and are known as Anthony Ambrose scholars in memory of the founder of FACE.
