If people are educated they can check the government abuse of power, if people remain uneducated the government can rule and oppress as it wishes.

These Burmese students have harrowing tales to tell of their villages being burnt, of rape, forced labour and torture. They deserve their fundamental human right to an education and we will fund as many as we can, but in order to do so we require your help and partnership.
