PB Alumnus Dr Sasa Completes Training of 317 Health Workers
Thursday, 10 March 2011 09:31
Health_and_Hope_GraduationOn March 3rd the final phase of training for the 317 Community Health Workers started by Prospect Burma alumnus, Dr Sasa, was completed with a graduation ceremony and we send huge congratulations to each one of them, and to Sasa whose dedication and commitment has been an inspiration.
All but 20 of the community health workers have now returned to their villages in remote locations in the Chin hills to put into practice all they have learnt about preventing disease and offering basic health care.  The 20 who have remained at the Health and Hope will act as further training coordinators. It is the most amazing achievement from an exceptional young man and you can read more about Sasa on our Students Stories page in the "About" Section.
