Prospect Burma was delighted to be involved with the Burmese community in organising "An encounter with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and the People of Burma in the United Kingdom" on June 22nd at the Royal Festival Hall. Prospect Burma's Chairman, Robert Gordon, had the honour of welcoming Aung San Suu Kyi, and following a brief meeting with Prospect Burma's Trustees, she addressed her people in Burmese and then took on a question and answer session before watching a cultural performance of song and dance.
