Prospect Burma joins Aung San Suu Kyi's family and the Burmese people in welcoming her release from house arrest and hopes that it may mark the beginning of meaningful dialogue and peaceful change. In due course we will be able to tell her of the work you have enabled us to do, and of the hundreds of Burmese students whose education you have funded. It is now more important than ever that we continue to forge ahead with our scholarship programme. All our students commit to return to Burma with their skills when they can.
